Job Description

This position will is required to think strategically to develop creative marketing campaigns that target each client’s unique audience. You will work with the account and copy teams to accomplish initiatives set for each client, and the creative team to ensure your strategic vision is coming to life.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner closely with senior leadership and our B2B clients to develop big-picture marketing strategies that support business objectives and drive results
  • Build strong marketing plans and marketing calendars that align with the strategy and incorporate test-and-learn recommendations.
  • Develop a deep understanding of your clients’ businesses and monitoring trends within their industries.
  • Attend client calls and meetings to pitch new ideas, discuss results, recommend adjustments and provide overall marketing guidance
  • Facilitate meetings with clients to discuss new projects and complete project briefs to capture details and ensure alignment.
  • In conjunction with your copywriters,  you’ll write thought-leadership content, articles and key sales materials that set the tone and messaging for clients.
  • Edit and review content such as email campaigns, brochures, proposals and website content to ensure accuracy and effectiveness of message.
  • Identify conferences and speaking opportunities and creating strategies that support those recommendations.
  • Identify market segments with the greatest growth potential and developing strategies to reach those target audiences.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to understand when and why we utilize a particular tactic or approach and provide recommendations for overall campaign strategy based on target audience and business goals.
  • Stay current on emerging marketing platforms, new tactics, B2B behavior trends, industry insights and innovation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in marketing, advertising, business, or communications
  • 5 years of experience in omni-channel marketing, preferably in B2B
  • 3-5 years of experience in developing marketing strategies and plans
  • Communications or marketing experience in the healthcare industry
  • Excellent, effective, and clear written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Exemplary writing skills
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail
  • Organization and time management skills
  • Presentation skills and ability to think on your feet
  • Punctual, fast learner and very comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

Working Conditions:

  • The majority of work is completed in an office setting with intermittent sitting, standing and walking.
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
  • Travel to visit clients or conferences a possibility.
  • Standard office hours for the business are Monday through Thursday 8:00 am to 5:30 pm EST and Friday 8:00 am to 12:00 pm EST.
  • Office based employees are expected to work 4 days in office and may work from home one day a week after 3 months of employment.
  • Remote based employees may have intermittent travel to the Augusta office location based on business need.
